Renewal

I don't know if my father has a 'Bucket List' but yesterday was a big day for him as he renewed his wedding vows. It has always been the plan for my parents to renew their vows on their 40th wedding anniversary, on a cruise, with the ceremony performed by the Captain.

This was a low key affair, performed in a hospital chapel, with about 25 people in attendance to witness the ceremony.

The occasion was bittersweet, but any renewal at this time of loss is worthwhile, and anything that makes my Dad happy is the best thing of all!
